the electric car

the electric car has made terrific progress in the past decade and may be the answer on the end of our dependence on foreign oil. In the past year the cost of gas has gone through the roof. If only half the population of the current cars on the road were to be replaced with electric cars then the price of gas would drop dramatically and the middle east would not have as much money as they do currently. The world is going to run out oil and we will need to have a suitable replacement to the gas power internal combustion engine. The Thought of nuclear powered cars has already crossed peoples mind but so has the idea of having a melt down on main street. The electric car is the best conceivable replacement for our current needs.
